Really good long run in PQ canyon with maggie. it's been so long since i've run out there. nice place to run relatively flat and quick. just held a steady pace for first 12 miles never working too hard. it felt pretty effortless. super stoked on running right now... nothing new... but just having a lot of run with the way things are going and the "plan".

12 miles, 800 ft of climbing in 1:23 (6:55 pace) then 10 min super ez cool down.

First time on the scale in at least a month... probably 2. going to slowly work my way down to the ~145ish range. Ideally i'd like to get back to between 140-145. I haven't done anything long in quite a while so I'm pretty getting down to 145 won't be too hard as the volume increases... slowly. Diet has been good since start of new year. zero gluten with the exception of beer.

fun ride out at hodges. solid legs. about 2 hours in I snapped my chain and was far from the car.... luckily a big group of mountain bikers rolled up as I was starting the walk of shame. they had a chain tool and a link! I was fumbling around (last time i broke a chain was pre-riding the xterra richmond course with jim vance in 2007!!). my new friend doug took over and got me dialed in! back on the trails in about 15 minutes. i was so stoked and appreciative.... i hope it's just the good karma paying off for all the times i've stopped to help people.
