OOC running training at Mooney's Bay. did 6 lengths of the beach with 1min rest between each. then 3 loops following the perimeter fence around the track (1km). 4:02, 3:48, 3:35. started to notice the shin a bit on the last interval.

Ran the course from the SOAR event starting from Centrepoint Park. I probably should have ran this at a different time of day as it was a toasty 28 degrees when running... left shin started to get sore at about the half way mark. I took the second half slow and just jogged/walked to avoid making it worse. apparently my legs have forgotten how to run on asphalt after five weeks of running on what was basically a carpet of marshmallows.
