Busy day so unfortunately didn’t have enough time to get to yoga as well. Did almost get bumped into by a fox though which was very exciting, don’t think he was expecting me when he popped out of the hedge.

Really happy with my run, a bit hesitant on the first couple in the boulders, & a poor 6-7 where I got stuck in a load of bracken and should’ve just gone down and back up on the path. The rest was really solid & I didn’t make any mistakes, hooray. Quite enjoyed myself bounding around in all the snow.

Note

Woke up feeling really dreadful (high HR, headache, exhausted) so went for a PCR test & isolated for the day. Result negative (Wednesday am) & also feeling much better so I must've fought off whatever it was. Weird but at least it was 1 day and not 10, and no harm done.

Dewsbury 10k - fs, horrible conditions today (wind and rain), & felt like a headwind the entire way lol. Pleased to finish 2nd lady - a couple of good people up front dropped out part way round but I stuck in & ground it out trying to hide behind tall men.
2 seconds outside of my PB though, booo :-( sub 35 will have to wait for another day. Enjoyed(?!) the pain of road racing again.
