Turns out the infrared heaters were broken last week so it was actually 36 degrees of pure heat being pumped out which is why it was beyond unpleasant. Back to normal this time.

Another nice Sunday run. My legs badly wanted to give up near the end though. I was supposed to be the one doing the pacing & motivation, & ended up being the one whingeing that I wanted to walk, hah! Saved by toast.

Podium. Wasn’t feeling up for it but I’d already committed to going so I decided to just pace for a minimal effort PB (if such a thing exists). Windy and got stuck in no mans land between groups but felt surprisingly comfortable. Hit my pacing bang on and with far less effort than last time. Keen to do a 5k and properly hurt myself in a couple of months time when I feel a bit more confident in my speed.
