9Round 32:00 [5]
ahr:117 max:157 shoes: INOV-8 Alltrain 215

Outdoor workout today, and it was a good one. This is probably as high as I want my heartrate to go. Also, I could have done without the sweat dripping sunscreen into my left eye. This is so much better than the virtual workouts, and I got to spar a couple of times with Bailey.

Online workout. I think I'm getting some of my strength back , and doing a more credible job. It was hard.

ahr:91 max:144 shoes: INOV-8 TrailRoc 270

Dog walking without the dog. Elray went to the vet early this morning for her annual teeth cleaning, and we went to First Watch and had our first breakfast out since the middle of March. They have an outdoor patio.

Then we drove northeast and stopped first and hiked down to the Locust Creek Covered Bridge, the longest covered bridge still standing in Missouri. Strangely enough, the bridge is still standing there, but they had changed the flow of Locust Creek, so it no longer flows under the bridge.

Then we continued to Pershing State Park, and hiked the boardwalk trail through the woods and marshes. Pretty dry this time of year, but huge trees, and an interesting experience. We finished off by going to the Swan Creek National Wildlife Refuge, and didn't see swans, but did see Great White Egrets. Then winding around more on gravel roads, and back to Chillicothee? and Macdonalds before heading home.

We finished off by getting a Galloway for governor sign for the yard, and then picked Elray up at the vet's. My poor baby is still sleeping it off after 8pm. I had serious cabin fever, and needed a fun day like this.

Forgot to turn on my fenix. Same route as yesterday at Mack Porter.

Workout 57:45 [3]
ahr:80 max:119 shoes: INOV-8 Alltrain 215

Workout with Jared. Pushed and pulled the sled (with the brake on) back and forth three times, and also went up and down the ramp. We started out with lots of shoulder work, then later on did some back stuff which also included shoulders. Must be good for posture.

Gardening. I don't usually log this, but this afternoon was somewhat intense. I was preparing the garden to grow some green stuff, and had a lot of raking. And I got to prune bunches of small saplings growing up through the fence.

The three of us only did the shorter loop around Mack Porter today, along with some "walk the doggie". A nice day.

On-line workout. These all start with the first round jumping rope for 3 minutes. Boring. The rest of it was pretty good.

Slogging 57:28 [4] 6.05 km (9:30 / km) +44m 9:10 / km

Watkins Mill clockwise. My best time in years, and I maintained a 9:30/km pace. The last km was actually my second fastest. I have been sleeping better and feeling better. Hope this continues.
