Nacka Naturreservat. Planned to do a longer run in the beautiful area but felt extremely tired so I just ran to a lake for a swim and back again.
Got an explanation the day after for my tiredness. Been healthy the whole season and finally no iron or vitamin deficiency and then ill two weeks before WOC ...

Where is my luck?

That was fun, I love running O-ringen sprints. :-)
Was still feeling ill this morning but slept a long time in the afternoon which was good I think. That was close to miss out the most fun event of the year! I'm happy now. :-)

O-ringen stage 1,
okay race, not perfect but stable, no bigger mistake but lost quite a lot of time on two routes.
A good plan but bad execution to one control. I need to keep more to the line when going straight!
Bad route and bad execution to another control in the end.
55th place in an incredible field. Now it's time to climb up in the results a bit :-)

Kvasshovden opp , a vertical uphill race from 0 to 1000m above sea level. Felt surprisingly good. Very nice competition with beautiful views. 4th place in my age category (23-34y) and 8th in total. :) So happy we took part in this race !

Race was good until control 5, then a bit unsure to number 6, couldn't decide how to run to 7th but plan was to go quite straight-got passed by Merja R and thought I am faster when going with her than going alone, she chose a really weird route and I followed her but lost her as I was hesitating and not sure what her plan actually was but continued running that stupid route and lost at least 5 min!!! never again - better to do my own thing!
Then ran the wrong order on the last loop and had to turn all the way down the hill again. Not motivated after that so jogged the last part.
I think this is what you can call a distaster race. So bad that I'm not even sad about it.

+ Legs felt good :-)
