Met Shep had a bash in Majura. Good ride and chat, also good to ride with someone to get me moving a bit quicker, especially when following him getting some flow going. Lost it a bit at the end and put the foot down a fair bit!

Rode home after and felt real strong which was good after 2hrs

Note

Ate something dodgy on Sunday night (think it was kebabs which needed to be cooked) and had a day of a permanent feeling of being on the edge of throwing up which led to no run. walked the dog in the arvo and felt a little better after but not enough

Happy to of lost 1.7kg since got back from vanuatu, a good start. First goal is 83 then 80 maybe - which would be lowest since 2004 i think? Shame im not really training for anything! Easter 2011 is next event so far

Orienteering (ACT SL - Picaree Hill) 1:26:49 [3] ***
shoes: Inov8 X Talon 212

New area for me and i was thinking the red would be around 7-8km so 11 was a surprise. Looking daunting too with lots of contours too but it was such a good course by Olle, i really enjoyed it.

Legs were quite heavy and i just tried to keep a good rhythm going. drifted on a few but always managed to catch myself before doing anything too bad. got hoggster which is what counts most.

OACT needs routegadget

Great ride around stromlo on a cracker day! So many people out which is great to see and two separate bike themed bday parties in the kids area, so good to see the facility being used so much.

Tried to ride mostly tracks that I normally miss. Felt pretty good but my flow went missing after 30mins

Big lap of Belco. Along the horse trail around the back of MacGregor etc past the pinnacle, painter through Aranda, and Blackie to Bruce then some singletrack fun there and on O'Connor ridge. Down to UC for a smoothie and juice. Out through Kaleen but missed the track and went down the bike path to the shops then through the streets to get out to the trail around the back of the burbs. Then around the back to Dunlop.

Was pretty happy with the ride and didnt fatigue to much towards the end. Got personal best of 7 magpie swoopings in one ride!

Loop around Stromlo. Can't believe how much rain there has been, so much water out there and some bad erosion on the tracks, didnt do a second lap due to not wanting to damage which meant not going down skyline :(

To the clown who sent Tom and Al an anonymous text abusing them, go fuck yourself. Did you not think that we will just search your number on our database you stupid prick? I hope they give me permission to give you a call :)

More unmarking. Out there alone you think a lot and I got a bitemotional at one stage about the weekends events. It was the definition of a lose-lose situation and to have all these ignorant, insensitive stupid fuckwits attacking us is hard to take. Thanks to those that supported us, it really helped, there was - and still is a bit- a pretty sombre mood within AROC.

Running (Track unmarking ) 3:00:00 [1]
(injured) shoes: Structure Triax 12

The unmarking consisted of clambering over literally hundreds of trees, getting to intersection, seeing an arrow then scouring the adjacent for the rest that had been blown off. Tracks absolutely trashed. Snake track is almost gone, nearly brought a tear to the eye.

Injury is tendonitis in my right wrist developed from raking last week. Shows how much we put I to make this race the best it can be. Know which part of the anatomy I would like to shove the dozen or so rakes we wore th teeth off into of those people who think we walked away from the weekend happy with having to cancel.
