I'll be there for a bit of fun too, doubt I'll be able to add myself to you guys and your superfast draft zone...

Not sure; their "A" grade is 30kmh or more i.e. most people and a very big crowd on a narrow start line.

A-grade wasn't that large last year, the vast majority were in B-grade. There were a lot of people like me who go faster than 30kmh but prefer to be at the front of the B-group rather than the back of the A-group. But yes, the start line is narrow so there is an advantage for the ones who start in front.

Having said that nobody knows what the Kwinana starting line will be like...it will probably be even more narrow. But at least there shouldn't be the overcrowding that's at Belmont.
My A grade was large last year, but i didn't see B grade, that was probably bigger. A 2 hour time limit for 60k isn't that fast...beware there's alot of cowboys out there. There were 2 bad wipe outs in my pack alone last year!

Well ill say the top guys will av mid 40's at least. Mike is right 2hours is nothing for the 60k's when you can draft all the way.I averaged 34 for 42k's on the bike path that way today not even trying that hard.Saying that now ill probably take over 2hours.Just have to sit behind the Karri cup race hardened guns T and B.They didnt say anything about not using tri bars on the race site that i could see,not that you would use them.

I averaged close to 40 last year from Belmont and hung onto the 2nd group after the A grade. That is well over my regular pace and there was a big crash about half way up. Fortunately I was just in front as it sounded bad and I just kept looking forward.

I am going for a nice quiet run in the bush that day anyone want to join in?
