VHI Short Brown on Pentlands. Great to have a course with only 13 controls over 7km. Good long leg, and I probably didn't get it quite right. Chased down by Jon X who started 3 minutes behind and finished about 1 behind.

3.5km course on the Slacks. More bracken than I'd hoped for, but otherwise good fun. Usual "good warm up" of 3km and 200+m climb to get to the orienteering. Even overtook 2 MTBers on the way up the road section.

Scottish Score at an extended Faskally. Didn't see one control, but got the rest. 60 minutes was generous for this area, as demonstrated by Grace who got all the controls in 50.
