Running 15:10 [2] 2.7 km (5:37 / km)

Running early in the morning to wake myself and my legs. Curious how my legs are reacting on this early jog before the physical test.
Did 5x5-10".
9 AM

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3] 2.5 km (6:00 / km)

Running warm on the track of the physical test in Auderghem. No good memories from last year. The hill and the plateau afterwards crawls in your clothes. Legs don't feel fresh. Will start easy and see were i get.

Running race 46:30 [4] 12.0 km (3:53 / km)

Running the course at easy pace, but the track makes it difficult to maintain a steady pace. Didn't feel much power in the legs.
After the fourth tour there where cramps in my left abdominal side and at the end of the sixth they started at my right side. By slowing down the fifth tour it got better, but during the seventh tour i couldn't make them go away by slowing down, so i stepped out of the race. Besides, i was already 1'45" to slow for the limit.
I think i trained the week before a bit too intense and i defenitely need more power and hill training.
Maybe i start next run, with the objective to finish 6 tours in 45'. We will see.
Nice results of Pieter, Fabien, Ken, Bart and Michel and the girls Miek and Kim G. but very unlucky some didn't make it after several months of hard training. Hope they make it next time.

Easy run in Prinsenpark, preparing for the big challenge tomorrow.
5x100m and 5x5".
Even on a flat track it would be difficult for me to get the requested time.
Im no member of the team, so i participate just for ""fun"".

One tour on the finish track before the usual tour with SLOK-guys: Dries VdK, Jeroen, Joost, Ken and Wouter. Fun.

MTB 3:15:00 [3] 62.0 km (3:09 / km)

VTT tour around Holsbeek with Jef Boeckx. Nice tour in Hageland, lots of variations, some beautiful single tracks and good organisation. Jef is stronger than last year and even got up the 'Zoenk' (famous steep hill).
Legs were tired afterwards. My last trainingstour with a bike was a couple of months ago, so will do more cycling training now the weather gets better.
