Crossfit 40:00 [3]

Fight gone bad. Four rounds of run, wall balls, high rows, thrusters. Took 28 minutes all in. One of the best jungle gym workout so far.

Pleasant, easy run. For the most part. Still not much of a sense of it in the boneheaded running community. What about running side by side makes sense when a runner is coming at you and there is no where to go?

First day out with the trails open. Lots of good cheer out there, though I have to say the group of a dozen runners or so up ahead, running in a tight pack as if it were 2019 or something, just seemed so out of place and irresponsible. It's so easy to get this right, and getting this right is the only way to get back to normal.

Crossfit 15:00 [3]

Short, but intense WoD designed by Emily. Three times around the Helen loop, in between 20 db squats, 20 db power cleans, 20 db squat cleans. Balogna and Anvil in on the action. Great fun.

Working on the 3rd Holzhauzen. Counted as half time.

Crossfit 45:00 [4]

The. Hardest. Workout. Period. Four times Fran. 21,15, 9 thrusters and bent over rows. With 20 lb weights. 4 minutes to complete, then a minute rest. Ferocious.

frickin' hard work out with Jordan on the Canterbury loop. 12 tijmes around. Each time under 1:25. Fastest loop was the 12th and it damn near kilt me, but I knocked out a PB of 1:17.

Wednesday May 13, 2020 #

Core killer strength portion: 30 seconds each of plank, opposite knee to elbow pland, hollow body hold, alternate knee crunches. Then at 14 minute grindingly hard ladder. Starting with 1 rep each of ground to over head (I used the 35 lb kettlebell) and 1 burpee. increase by 1 each round. I got through 11.5 rounds--so 12 burpees. So a total of 78 burpees. Those count toward my pushups today.

30 minutes steady hard. Two minutes rest, then 5 x 30 seconds all out, one minute rest.

Crossfit 50:00 [3]

Angie benchmark workout.

100 bent over rows (20 pounds per)
100 push ups
100 sit ups
100 squats

for time. Took about 16 minutes. With the 20 minute cap, we started over and got through another 25 rep round
