Suicide Prevention Walk at City Island in Harrisburg

With my parents, aunt, cousin and her two boys, and her friend and her son. In memory of my Uncle Greg.

It poured most of the day but was only a little misty during the actual walking. We cut the course a bit short by turning back early, as the younger kids were getting tired.

Thanks to everyone who donated through my Facebook link. I know a few of you are here too :-)

More at Swatara State Park. Parked at Sand Sidings. Randomly encountered Erik and Lauren Eddy in the parking lot, preparing to bike and run. Rail Trail, Sand Sidings, Bear Hole Trail to the Armar Bordner cabin. (Wiped out on the gravel here, cutting up my knee and palms despite having on long pants and gloves.) Then continuing to the fossil pit (spent a few minutes here but didn't see any fossils). Swopes Valley Rd back to Rail Trail, where I rode on past the parking area and up a section of State Park Lane before returning.
