taping mnoc lake elmo winter meet with David R about 4" snow on the grounds sunny and warmish day. a few map updates . LEPR have cleared out the wooded area NW of the archery range

2019 was another great year of retirement with travel to Chile, Porkies (winter trip), Greece (incl Crete and Santorini), and UK (June and Oct).

January: Trip to Chile - biking and white water rafting in the lakes and volcanoes district plus the ascent of the steaming Villarica (2860m). Spectacular views of snow capped volcanoes

March: Fun trip to the Porkies and staying in cabin with snowshoeing and X-C skiing

May: Awesome trip to Greece withJim and Kathi : exercise highlights were Samaria Gorge hike , MTBiking on Santorini, plus 6 days sailingin the Ionian sea from Lefkada

Some great kayaking with new section Hay Creek feeding in to S Fork of Eau Claire.

Bayfield swim was Ok with a time of 1:13:14

Good runs on days off from the FR/WHR along the beaches in N Wales

1) Biking : 1410 mi road, 337mi stationary bike, 17 MTB
2) Orienteering: 215 km 322 controls . Highlights were Afton, Drummond rogaine and Possum Trot
3) Swimming: 120 miles
4) Kayaking: 125 miles
5) Trail running: 101miles Lots of beach running in N Wales (some great beaches )
