Orienteering 2:21:00 [3] 8.16 km (17:17 / km)

Long distance race at Kooyoora. It was a tough one. I messed up 3 and had to relocate from the road. I also messed up 7, having to relocate from the creek, which l should have followed in the first place. It was entertaining climbing through the scrub, to say the least. I camped on the top of My Kooyoora and although it was chilly, it was a nice experience, apart from the noisy neighbours. Great weekend and wish l could have stayed for a bit more training.

Orienteering 1:41:00 [3] 5.53 km (18:16 / km)

Mt Kooyoora. I finished! 2nd or last! Only two women finished course 4, so l was pretty pleased. My navigation was terrible though and my back very sore. Nice challenge.

Swim 35:00 [3] 1.0 km (35:00 / km)

Swim in the new and most wonderful Aquanation pool at Ringwood. It was quite gorgeous - and would need to be as it cost $7.80 to get in!

Walk 35:00 [3] 3.5 km (10:00 / km)

Bleak day and l was a bit tired. Could only manage a short walk in the evening. I am now working on a new project. Who would have thought that the language around levee management could be so confusing - almost as bad as emergency management.

Run 35:55 [3] 5.0 km (7:11 / km)

Run around the streets of Blackburn. Not feeling very enthusiastic and walked up one hill. Left leg was feeling a bit weak.

Run 37:01 [3] 5.0 km (7:24 / km)

Run around Blackburn creeklands. The media last night reported a man hanging around Laburnum PS and the creeklands, which has made me be slightly more aware when l am running in the bushy sections.
Coincidentally, l received a letter from the police in Benalla over the weekend that they 'were investigating a suspicious male loitering in the vicinity of your residence during the evening hours'. More concerning was that my neighbours didn't receive a similar letter. So what is going on? I used to feel safe.
