Running warm up/down 10:00 [2]

Had to sprint back to the car because I forgot my bib..

Orienteering 42:00 [3] 4.58 km (9:10 / km) +250m 7:12 / km

IOC Relay - women's premier
Out second leg after Sharon. Made a silly mistake on number 2 but didn't lose too much time. Could see the others ahead when I went out into the open and I was catching them but on 6 I stupidly ran too far to the right (only later on realising this was because I had got the wrong 4 and 5, where the 5 I got was actually my 4) very stupid mistake meaning I mispunched! I'm happy with the rest of the course though and I caught the others again and finished just behind Regina in 2nd. My back got soo bad going up the hills but okay otherwise.

Note
(injured)

Didn't run the long because of my back. So sore in the past few days but especially after yesterday's race. Good decision I think since so many dnf'd with the crazy fog.

IOC Middle - shocking!
So had already made some silly mistakes but on route to number 7 I fell and my map got distroyed in the mud/peat so couldn't see anything from controls 6-10, just vaguely the pink lines. So frustrating! I must have looked so lost because I really was. I knew about just about where I was on the page but nothing beyond that. My back has gotten so.much.worse after the course too.

Running 32:00 [4] 5.7 km (5:37 / km) +75m 5:16 / km

Currabinny. With dad for the the first two laps. So hot out and was boiling in my long trousers (bad choice!) felt so much better than I have been in a long time, especially on the short quick hills! ☀️
