Pt. 1 of Los Pajeros (hehehehe)

The first section was MUCH rockier, and MUCH greener than the Kpull map showed. That's why I ended up going so far downhill to get to #1. I wasn't interested in fighting through that for 10 minutes.

Pt. 2 of Los Pajeros

Really, really beautiful forest. I have to come back to train here. A mixture of wide open pine with small areas of thick green and soft footing. This place gets you strong.

I just straight screwed up 1 and 2. That was mainly because I need to change my configuration on Kpull for cliffs. There were way too many missing in this area that made reading the map next to impossible.

I was also charged by a wild boar in the reentrant after 9. I booked it to anywhere I could where he wasn't going to follow me. That explains the huge swing to the left/downhill. He gave up pretty quickly. He was probably as scared as I was. After a few hundred meters more or less I tried to relocate and go back into my control. I was a little out of the zone at that point and that messed up my final two controls. That's alright. I was really glad to be out there, and alive.

Climbing to the start of the downhill course.

Downhill on the slope north of La Pinilla. I had to cut short what I wanted to do because I didn't have much daylight left. It was probably better honestly. What I wanted to do was a little ambitious. Although I'm sure I could have done it.

Downhill pt. 2

I cut a few controls when I realized I was beginning to have trouble reading the map because of, well, night. Feeling strong.

Jog back to the house in the darkness. Glad I didn't get stuck out in the mountains at night without a light.

Cycle up to Ben and Franchi's then back home. Unfortunately no training today. Just not enough time while trying to get stuff ready for the weekend. These days are when I'm happy that I have a long - relatively at least - commute cycling.

Nice and easy mixed terrain run in CDC. Just enjoying the easy day.

7 PM

Running 35:00 [4] 9.84 km (3:33 / km) +125m 3:21 / km

CDC Night tempo. I could certainly feel the Moral Trail in my legs still, and running alone wasn't easy. I still got a solid workout in. Looking to continue this trend.

CDC Night Line-O with the map I pulled aut. I had a screw up in one area, but overall it was pretty cool. Definitely getting better at this line-o stuff.
