Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 8.0 km (7:30 / km) +300m 6:19 / km

I attempted this downhill course with Rorri and the FEDOboys, but halfway through the course I could tell it wasn't going to happen. I couldn't run downhill because my legs hurt so much and my ankle started to get a worrisome pain in it.

So I figured that without about an hour run I had filled my quota for the day. Time to recover now.

Running 1:27:08 [4] 16.5 km (5:17 / km) +987m 4:04 / km

Just wanted to make the entry for now.

1st place. I can tell that I haven't been running in the mountains as much. Climbing hills was much more difficult than last year.

Still a good day.

Manu finished third. Podium for the apartment!

Running 15:58 [3] 2.4 km (6:39 / km) +340m 3:54 / km

Vertical explosion in the Moral trail races

A minute slower than last year, but I'm not as strong of a hill climber as last year. I actually think that's a good thing.

Running 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)

Very easy run on Madrid Rio. Soltando piernas.

Running 30:00 [3] 8.6 km (3:29 / km)

Tempo on Madrid Rio. This felt much more difficult than it did last week. In fact the last 5 minutes my body essentially gave out. I'm not sure why exactly, but my legs also felt tired on my commute. There is a positive side though. This means that I am pushing my body to a physical limit. So if I back off a bit then improvement comes.

So my plan calls for an hour run tomorrow Friday . Instead I'll take a rest day tomorrow, a 30-40 minute run on Friday, and then the Moral Trail on Saturday to defend my title.

I've signed up for the 17k course with 1100 meters of climb and the vertical race, 2.4k with 340 meters of climb. So two lighter days will be quite nice.

Also, two tough things about tonight. There was an Atlético game, so I had to constantly dodge people. And I had to fight a strong head wind on the way back. No big deal though.

Running 15:00 [3] 3.0 km (5:00 / km)

10 minute warm up, 5 minute cool down.

Orienteering 1:20:00 [3] 12.0 km (6:40 / km)

A bit later tonight, but it was worth it.

I got to do a reinterpretation of an old favorite. Casa de Campo with Kartapullautin. I was in such a rush I did the line in paint. It worked perfectly. This may sound bad, but I prefer this map to the 10 year old one.
