Planned on 90 min, but it was just too brutal out. Wet and cool, the trails were in full wash out mode. Up to my knees for ~40m at one point! Great to get out, but sheesh!

Wheel measuring the Crum Medium loop with June on my back. Pretty cold out, so we didn't linger too long at the playgrounds, but we had a nice time together. She's getting pretty heavy for me to carry in the backpack ... quite an effort up from the creek back home.

Beautiful cool day for some Crum Woods.

New watch, first run! It had the auto split function on, which was annoying. I tried to turn that off, and couldn't figure out how (doesn't seem possible) while running, and I hit the lap button a few other times too. :)

Combined Smedley and Swat College Woods maps into a new Crum North South map. Watch the race on World Of O! Zoom out (mouse wheel) to see the combined map!

Merry Christmas day (30F brr!) trot in the Crum. I seem to have misplaced my watch (tee hee) ... so went without, thus time is guestimate from the analog in our laundry room. Went too fast (just supposed to be Z1, definitely Z2/Z3), it was just so deliciously cold.

Off to hughmac3's for Xmas dinner and gifts soon, with anniemac and the rest of the local MacFamily. I'm looking forward to the fun!

Christmas morning was great here. Santa was generous but not overboard, the girls were good with each other, and I got 6 pairs of Wrightsocks and 3 sci-fi books. And the new Breville toaster oven is insane. If you need a toaster oven, there is no other.

Just finished Once A Runner by John Parker, Jr. and felt like such a blob that I had to go for a run, and of course had to push it a little bit. Sad to see what pushing it a bit looks like for me these days. Round town modified loop 1 lap.

Not a bad book, indeed. Definitely helping rejuvenate my winter training plan ... at least for today. :)
