Hot weather 25C, and had been helping down the plot earlier.

Pretty much a threshold round Varpan, home to the main Enviken road in 52 min. Then easy 5 mins to the underpass, then an effort up Jungfruberget 7 mins, easy back to the bottom of the main hill, then up again 5 mins, then back down, before a final effort up Jungfru and Ulberget.

Felt decent around Varpan (splashed myself in the river at Ostera which helped). Think I was a bit dehydrated by the hill reps. Did them alright but only got to proper lactate on the last one up Ulberget. Jogged back down and flung myself into Varpan to cool down!

Good tough session.

Spin round to Ostera and 5 x the hill (8 min a round). Nice evening 25C. Felt decent on all of them, pushed hard. Left cleat position feels good. The right shoe might need the heal coming away from the bike a bit.

Jog up to the track to test the legs and get some speed into them.

10 x 200m every 2 mins. 32 sec on all of them, pretty crazy the consistency. Felt good in the legs.

Jog back home.

Cycling 40:00 [3]

Afternoon. Spin round Varpan to try and sort the cleats on my shoes. The left shoe was causing the ITB and left of calf to tighten up, tried bringing the heal closer to the bike, but didn't feel right so shifted it out a bit again and hit a good position.

Carrying on the theme of taking it easy. Took it very easy to Lovstenen and back via the Skuggarvet road and into the flat path and back over Jungfru. Felt good not to push it.

Really want to get a good feeling back in the body so took it easy again on the run. Had a dip in Varpan after, and a bit of a massage on the legs in the evening after.
