hiking 1:00:00 [3]

Zan came up for the weekend, and we went stomping around in the snow up on the ridgetops for a while.

dp ski 1:00:00 [3]

dp around tahoe donner a bit late in the afternoon. the new snow was just enough to cover up all the rocks so you couldn't see them, but not quite enough that you didn't run them over.

Friday Nov 27, 2009 #

run 51:00 [3] 6.0 mi (8:30 / mi)

morning lap around Northwoods on the road. just barely starting to snow, but windy as crap, so it was super chilly.

Thursday Nov 26, 2009 #

run 41:00 [3] 4.0 mi (10:15 / mi)

run up along the sunny side of donner ridge above TD. Late in the day so the snow was warm and squishy, which made it really tough running. The easy parts were where it was ankle deep mud. More snow tomorrow!

Wednesday Nov 25, 2009 #

dp ski 1:55:00 [3] 24.0 km (4:48 / km)

double pole on the same route as yesterday, plus a bonus loop on the bonus loop. did this in a t-shirt. you'd think all the snow would be melted by now, but its actually sticking around pretty good down in the valley.

Tuesday Nov 24, 2009 #

dp ski 1:31:00 [3] 17.0 km (5:21 / km)

same as yesterday, with a bonus loop up a random snowmobile trail. got out later today, around lunchtime, and it was up in the 50s. snow was good in most places, icy fast, with the occasional sunny spot of death.

Monday Nov 23, 2009 #

dp ski 1:28:00 [3] 16.0 km (5:30 / km)

double pole at TD. they're not really open yet, but they packed some tracks into the weekend snow with a snowmobile, and its now a frozen bumpy pile of awesome. lots of rocks on the sunny bits near the start, but I got down into euer valley and there was a good loop of track that had more ice than gravel.
