7 AM

Cross-Training 30:00 [1]

A morning elliptical session at the little gym at the AirBnB we are staying at. Not feeling super inspired.

PT 10:00 [1]

Mostly stretching after the elliptical.
5 PM

Running 33:18 [2] 3.7 mi (9:00 / mi)
shoes: Asics Blue-Green 2017

I went for a short run when we got back from a gorgeous hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. I couldn't resist getting out again on this beautiful sunny day in the mountains. Ran in an o-top and shorts and got sweaty - a big contrast from full winter running gear the day before. Climbed up to about 9200 feet and then ran back down.

Running 1:06:30 [2] 7.0 mi (9:30 / mi)
shoes: Asics Blue-Green 2017

Running on the Vasquez Creek trails from our AirBnB in Winter Park, CO. Started at about 8500 feet and climbed to about 9500. Felt like hard going, especially with the ice covering the rocks and other sections of the trail. Much easier running on the way back.

Tuesday Oct 24 #

Running 1:03:47 [2] 7.0 mi (9:07 / mi)
shoes: Asics Blue-Green 2017

I love one-way runs. Ran home from Columbia Heights after Inara's 9-month pediatrician appointment while Alli and Inara took the metro home. Stopped and chatted with a passing JTor at the beginning of the run.

Then - Valley Trail all the way with small detours to avoid construction just south of Military Road and the longer, hillier option on the Holly St. loop.

Monday Oct 23 #

Cross-Training 55:00 intensity: (35:00 @1) + (20:00 @4)

Lunchtime elliptical intervals. 20x1' with 30" rest. Sweaty.
