So my building and the one adjacent to it were evacuated today due to a potentially 'dangerous gas leak'. Locked in my office was my computer, iphone, wallet, etc. GASP!
The police locked down my building to contain the gas. HAZMAT came in. All busses were re-routed off campus. Students at Emma's school were told to go inside and their school was locked down too.
And what was this dangerous gas?

Nitrogen!
yes it is true. Apparently levels downwind in Westdale are reported to be in the 78% range now. ;-)
Yeah so what happened? Somebody was purging a gas tank and it set-off the alarm but apparently health and safety have to follow a specific protocol.
So now I have to go back to work to finish my day and will miss TNT.
Just as well. Wouldn't want to be running intervals with that much N2 in the air!

God hammer where do you come from. Don't you know the last thing you should do in a perilous gas leak such as that is gasp?

when running behind turbo at TNT, nitrogen is not the gas I'm worried about
