Cool - maybe 'Bent's knee will be fixed by then and he could join you. He needs a team (with navigator) for WT since I'm helping to set the course again.

that sounds nice, even pastoral. hows about doing it sub 3?

Learned not to race out of fear of puking or getting injured that is. Although I survived 3 hours with Bash in the SSR. 3 hours exactly Super. Not sub 3 but not over 3 either

Of course I'll be getting another MRI and likely surgery again this winter too so maybe some time before I AR again.

Sounds like you and 'Bent are on the same schedule then.

Hell after seeing Zoo's performance in person, I'm inspired myself to put a couple bigger races next year and train for it. Amazing what a bit of focus can achieve.

The whole CDR experience was humbling seeing people break records, break down, friends/new friends rock the course and be part of a cool study for AdventureScience.ca. I'm tired as heck from supporting but those solo kids are amazing in my mind suffering for that amount of time. That was one hell of a course.

Jason, take your five fave Raid the Hammer courses and run them back to back to back. At 25-28km each with climb of 1000 to 1300m each it would exceed the CDR in both distance and climb. The maps are already prepped let me know when you want me to put out the CP's. ;-)

I puke with Bash too. Ahhh....like brother like sister :)

Bash:
Hammer hasn't puked with me yet. In his most recent 24-hr rogaine, I believe he puked on Pam James. Sherpa puked with me though - and so did Tiny, but that was an adventure race. Barb B. came close in the Dakota Rogaine but managed to hold it down after resting a bit. I guess there's no denying that I am bad luck to anyone except 'Bent, who got altitude sick in our first rogaine but has been pretty good since.

No I didn't puke when racing with Bash. The tow rope kept it all down.

Yeah Pamtastic dragged my sorry altitude sickness puking ass around the desert for the last 12 hours. My heart rate didn't want to compensate for the low O2.

"the tow rope kept it all down"... sheesh! ;-)
