Out for a decent trot around town - newish loop (6 miles) to Prickwillow Rd, Kings Meadow, Kings Ave, Columbine, Beresford; and then second lap this time to the river first n up Fore Hill into town n then our. 44 mins for first lap and 48 mins for second which felt right as clearly speeded up. Cold start (6c) so gloves were on but soon warmed up in sun.

Reasonable pace run thru CH n along river up to Comoon for a lap n back via town; felt hungry more than anything!

Easy run down to BF for 2.5 laps (7.05 miling) n back up. Legs heavy but relaxed pace probably helped.

Chilly morning (less than 10c) so gloves got first airing for winter (woose!)... ran at good pace to station (as was a tad late to get train) and decent pace from as felt good.

And a decent pace back home as well (catching the 20.00)... dark.

Up to the gym at lunchtime for a decent run on treadmill... warmed up n then got machine to 7.08 miling at 1-1.5%. Sweaty as usual n a good blowout. Felt reasonable and ended with an ease down to complete the session.

Had come home n felt shattered.... but thank God for Dylan. He dragged me out n i felt so much better as a result: did the River Run with him first - 20.00 and then for a second lap on my own - 17.52 and felt decent n strong. Easy mile jog down afterwards.

Fairly ploddy run - legs heavy n sore... perhaps still due to Saturday? Was also awake in night so more tired than usual when woke properly.
