CompassSport Cup at Mugdock. Brown, 9.4 km. Not the most inpspiring terrain, but enjoyed a good leg stretch on a beautiful morning. A bit dithery and hesitant.
Another 4+ hours out on the Ardnaskie map, tagging and checking all the controls, finishing the last few in the dark. Blundered into a bouncing bog - one of those you go to cross then realise you made a horrible mistake when the whole world starts moving with your footsteps. Cautiously back-tracking, there was the skeleton of a highland cow, horns and all. Apparently they've lost a couple of the herd in the bogs this winter.
Dunbeg Forest with the SAMS crowd. It was a good one, with Mark cranking the pace until everyone was well strung out. Tried not to push too hard as legs still a bit heavy.
