Indoor biking 45:00 [2]

Running hills 26:00 [3]

Running 36:00 [2]

Plans were constantly changing but felt relatively motivated once I got outside and going. Did 6 x Cardiac and 6 x Nancy before sprinting parking lot to Mtn/Hillcrest (4:55). Had some skiing to catch up on so spent some time on the bike after.

Indoor biking 45:00 [3]

Busy day but managed to jump on the bike early morning to stretch out my legs from the last couple of days' training.

Running 14:00 [4]

Running 22:00 [1]

Had some time to kill around Redeemer University so decided despite pretty beaten up legs to do FIRST session number 2. 2 mile easy, 2 mile tempo, 2 mile easy. I skipped the last 2 mile easy but did the rest. Today's pace was supposed to be 4:20 min/km so not very tempo-ish really but that's what program says and with being well above the pace Wednesday, I made sure I squeezed myself a few seconds faster than the prescribed pace just to make me feel better. 4:17 to be exact and it felt comfortable.

Legs a bit sore from yesterday so jogged around the Wdale neighbourhood a few minutes before floorball.

Running 22:00 [4]

Trying out the 'Run Less, Run Faster' approach a k a FIRST method. I am not following the program entirely but just getting ideas of speed work to do. This was the first session and 3 x 1600 was on the table with 1 min recovery in between. The boot camp had already started to kick in but I gave it my best but without killing myself. Ran end of Hillcrest to Chedoke up the rail trail, back to end of Hillcrest via Dundurn - almost exactly 1 mile. Times were well of the suggested pace of 6:07 with 6:23, 6:30, 6:41 => average of 6:31 or so but the loop is not exactly flat and plus a few other excuses I can't come up with. Anyway, this was the first quicker run in many weeks so I didn't expect legs to be very fast. It will come. I hope.

Running 40:00 [1]

Strength 20:00 [3]

ARK Attack. Boot camp. Did the same things as the kids and I hurt at the end.
