Normandy TT course - Despite wu took 5mins for HR to reach 150, and average after that was around 153. Had infected tooth & swollen face for the last 5 days, plus hours of DIY, so pretty run down & tired, but to starting to improve gradually. So getting out in race position more important than over doing it. 50s down on PB pre-TT bike. Concluded raising bars by 10mm and giving more for breathing should pay off.

Did fast wu of 5 miles, but HR still took ages to reach 150 during main ride, simply run down and mildly detrained with holidays etc.
