Orienteering 8:02 [3]

Time trial.... only passed by 1 person. Smooth orienteering, just not really that fast!

Orienteering 19:46 [3]

Woodland Park. 2 fast guys in my heat took off. Tom Allen and I tootled around together. He was a little faster and made me keep running, and I was a little cleaner with the lines, so it all equaled out nicely. 4th in the bracket, so moved on down.
2 PM

Orienteering 20:43 [3]

North Seattle College. We got a little map talk from Pink Socks, which made understanding the map way easier! More technical with the levels, so it was a way better race for me. Again ran with Tom. He was first, I was second, so we moved up a bracket!
4 PM

Orienteering 22:35 [3]

North Seattle College, take 2. Hardest heat of the weekend - Tom, me, Joanne Woods, and Rebecca Jensen. Head to head the whole way around. I made a little time here, lost a little time there, but we all pulled each other along. My legs didn't want to run anymore after about 10 minutes, but I couldn't let them all get away! Our results:

1 Tom Allen 0:22:30
2 Rebecca Jensen 0:22:32
3 Joanne Woods 0:22:34
4 Alison Schoenhardt 0:22:35

I moved down, the rest moved on up.

Orienteering 15:00 [3]

Louise set me a short orienteering course at Lonsdale. Rusty to start, but worked on looking at the whole leg and planning ahead. Working well by the end.

Running 10:00 [3]

Warm up/down. This really helps. Must do more warm ups!
6 PM

Core 30:00 [3]

Yoga after running. Hatha yoga, so got a good sweat going. Little stretching in there too. Good class.

cycling 1:05:00 [3] 24.0 km (2:43 / km)

To work to seabus, then all the way home.
11 AM

Core 30:00 [3]

Yoga. Nap at the end was great! Counting 50%
6 PM

Running 15:00 [3]

Was going to go for a slower run, just to remind my body how to run while tired. Wore my road runners, which are at the end of their useful life as shoes for running in... my achilles started to hurt, so I cut it short.

Gym 30:00 [3]

HiRoc class with Matt. I like Matt, as he actually makes us work. Foam rolling and stretching afterwards.

Need to get a plan in place for weekday workouts....

cycling 55:00 [3] 16.68 km (3:18 / km)

Home from work. Wasn't going to bike all the way because I was tired, but it was such a beautiful day, and I don't think we'll get many more of those....

It was slow, because I forgot to grease my chain, and because I was tired. And it was windy. Now I"m just making excuses.... it was mainly the tiredness.

Orienteering 1:30:00 [3]

Control placement in the pissing rain and mist. By the time I got back to the parking lot, others had made the decision to cancel the WJR and were turning people away. Probably for the best, seeing as visibility was poor and it was rather wet. Our lovely hardcore group went and picked up controls for me.
