Note
(rest day)

Course Marshall for the Nimby Fifty bike race in Pemberton. Pascal rode the race. 47km and ~700m of elevation with steep up and technical descents. Mild sunstroke from standing in the blazing 30 degree sun for 3 hrs. No sunburn though! Sure am glad we don't have to course marshall with Orienteering... One thing I can do without organizing!

Note
(rest day)

Physio this morning. He did IMS. Hurt way more than last time I did this, and my glutes/legs are feeling like I ran 50km yesterday.

Orienteering 45:00 [3]

Princess Park. Fun course by Graeme. Unfocused race, but fun to be out in the forest.

7 AM

cycling 42:32 [3] 13.41 km (3:10 / km)

To work, via Lost Lagoon.
8 AM

Gym 35:00 [3]

Gym! Arms, glutes, core.
6 PM

Running 15:00 [3]

2 minutes on, 1 minute off. Very slow run, so only logging half time. Leg felt surprisingly good, given that I felt it would hurt with the biking and the gym.... beautiful evening.
7 PM

cycling 20:00 [3] 5.6 km (3:34 / km)

Home from work.

cycling 1:18:00 [3] 26.1 km (2:59 / km)

Bike to work week! One of the guys from work is having a challenge with his wifes work to see which has the most km/person, so I took a detour through Stanley Park to get home. Hoped it would rain and keep the tourists away. It didn't... Damn Vancouver sunshine! Almost hit many people, but managed to keep a good pace as I apologized like a good Canadian.

Mountain Biking 40:00 [3]

Biking at Bear Mountain. Ended up hiking quite a lot, mainly because I was distracted by the terrain... Kept thinking how much it looks like Sumas and how nice off trail running would be. Nearly ditched the bike, but didn't have the right shoes to run... Pissing rain.
