Note
(sick)

Chest not well enough to race tomorrow so not going to Donegal. Feels a bit better than yesterday but no way it would be ok for racing. Anti-biotics finish this evening, and at this stage if things don't improve by Monday i'll be off to the doctor for more.

Decision time in the morning whether i'll head north. Not too optimistic at this stage, cold isn't great but I can ignore that, chest is the problem. Anti-biotics havn't cleared things up like i'd hoped they would, still caught. Cough is improved after cough bottle. Fingers crossed...

Along with my chest I am suffering from a sore throat which was bad yesterday but better today, a small cold, and also coughing. Basically taking various forms of medication trying to fight them off. Not training, no hope of that, and at this stage doubts are forming in my head that I won't be well enough to get to Donegal for the Connaught Champs on Sunday. Fingers are crossed that my various ailments will be much improved after an early night tonight.

Still not feeling great, think it's a chest infection. Feel a bit like a hypochondriac but i've got an appointment with the doctor this afternoon. Will be walking for an hour for lunch, on strike, so will throw on the Garmin so I can log that as training!!! Only hope that being out in the wind and rain for an hour doesn't make my chest worse.

Road (Picketing) 1:02:47 [1] 3.28 km (19:08 / km)

Picketing County Buildings as part of Industrial Acting/Strike.

Weather was awful so plenty of warm layers and 2 jackets, hat and gloves. Safety boots kept my feet dry. Basically walked around in a circle for an hour. Thankfully got a text earlier to say I only had to do 1 hour due to weather conditions. Would have got very bored walking around in a circle for 2 hours.
