Needed some fresh air before spending all day in a cancer pharmacists' workshop in Melbourne CBD, so took up Blair's offer of a tour of Darebin Creek (where I'd never been before) and the new Yarra footbridge, returning to Fairfield across the old pipe bridge.

Squelched around in the rain with Zara & Callum, then (after a quick shower to wash off muddiness) went to talk nationals maps & courses with Vincent for a couple of hours.
Question: do elites want to be able to leave their own drinks/supplies @spectator control in the Aust Long?

Beats doing housework, which is my usual morning activity - yesterday I had the genius idea of using ankle tape to 'fix' the cracked plastic shelves in the fridge!

Nth Adl loop with junior group - 30 sec on/1 min off. Think I was actually doing ok in the brief window between being not yet properly warmed up and becoming a bit lactic.

Sleeps Hill sunset run since there was still daylight after dropping off borrowed gear at 3 different places (thanks to G for towing the trailer) after what was possibly the Arrows' most successful club relays yet - and we've been organising them since 2004 - at least, in terms of entries although admittedly about 10% of the 66 entered teams didn't manifest. Driving through the Onkaparinga Valley at 7am in negative temperatures and the ground white with frost, it was hard to imagine that the day would turn out absolutely clear and sunny, but in fact the conditions were perfect for orienteering!
