Recce of the OCT Coniston section. Ran down to Cockley Beck from 3 Shires Stone, then slogging up to the col via various crappy trods until we decided the map was, in fact, crappy and the big stone path on the ground was going the way we wanted. Finally made it up to the col and slipped and slid along the, usually lovely but today snowy and boggy, Duddon trod across the side of Brim Fell to the Old Man. More fun on the way back with some nice snowy descending!
