Running (father daughter time :D) 1:00:00 [3]
Dad announced he was going for a run again, so of course i had to go too, though i really didn't want to- not usually my idea of a good way to spend ur birthday. it actually ended up being good, and at the end i had that satisfied sorta feeling :)
dad seemed to be going at a better pace for longer, and after one of his little stops in the shade i said we had to do 200 double-paces before walking again, and he didn't say anything but i said it out loud each fifty and he actually did it! then our track sorta disappeared/headed straight up ainslie, so we went across country! got pretty thick and scratchy but we eventually hit the road. so yeah it was a run, walk and bushwalk but it was pretty tiring anyway.
Note
looking to buy a watch for running, but not really sure what sorta level i want, from something like a timex ironman (with lap recall and all those sorts of timing functions), to heart rate monitors, to garmins (which seem pretty expensive!) so yeah i'm not really sure whether ones like garmins etc are worth me investing in at this level of running and orienteering. any ideas?
