Orienteering 37:29 [4] 3.8 km (9:52 / km)

Was quite happy with my run today. I did make a few little errors but i was happy that i stil got 10minute km's with them : )
I was just a little bit sloppy and slow in some areas but it was nothing big. On one of the controls There was red and white tape and there was a man in a yellow vest so i thought i wasn't allowed to get it. But after a few seconds i realised that the man was just on a course lol. That was a bit silly but meh. Overall i am happy with my run and also happy that i didn't once fall over in the mud!!!! : )

Did a little warm up with M.J before we got our start times. good fun except i was so worried i was going to slip over before we had even started our course : )

Orienteering (NSW training) 1:15:00 [4]

Did a mixture of stuff tody. Was good fun. First we did these little courses where we had to go to the right control , not the decoy ones, and when we got back we had to tell them the right number of the control. All of the little watercourses made it interesting.
Then we did a course where all of the legs were short and we had to compass all of them. I was going so much faster for about the last 5 ot 6 than i was for the first couple. The scrubyness of the bush ruined it a little but other than that i really liked it. :)

Running (NSW training) 20:00 [3]

This was terrain running. Mark set up a few little obstacle course things so he could teach us good techniques to run through the bush. Was heaps fun. I leapt over some logs a few times but it's ok, it wasn't that many. Got ripped off a bit by Joshwa because of how i was running lol. I like doing this sort of stuff : )

We ran to the first event/activity and then we ran to and from the last activity. Good good : )

Did a stretch before the first activity and after the last one while we had a little 'meeting'.

Running (Track Running) 20:00 [3]

Afetr the warm up we went over to the 300m line and did 3 of them. At that time my legs were hurting just a little bit but you know it was ok. Then after a 10minute break we went over to the 200m mark and unfortunately i only got to do one :( During that one after about 50metres my leg just "Oucheded me" and then i didn't get to do anymore.
It really hurts, It even hurts to touch. Mum thinks it;s because my bones might be growing faster than my muscles and made tham tight and yea. But i felt kinda embarrased because i was like teary :( lol

p.s. i have like no idea about the time so yea, this is just a guess.

I got there a bit late so i only did one lap around the oval, followed by an alright stretch. Then we all did heaps of run throughs and drills and even some push-ups!

cycling (Cycle class at the gym) 45:00 [4]

Twas a full class tonight so even though we got there early we were lucky to get in. We did three hill tracks tonight. Was pretty tough. My head was hurting a bit and when he told us to cloe our eyes for heaps long i felt a bit sleepy lol. My legs were so sore in the last track, i think that one was the one where i worked the hardest : )

Orienteering race ("Arthursleigh") 40:19 [4] 3.8 km (10:37 / km)

The only mistake i made today was going to number 4. I was kind of frustrated with that because i am pretty sure i was like right near the control and just missed it. My legs got sore by the end of the course and i lost a bit of time because of that. I think if i didn't make that mistake and if i didn't get sore legs i would've gotten under 10 minute km's but anyway, you can't turn back time : )

Swimming (Swimming at Kurri Kurri) 50:00 [3]

Wasn't that motivated for a swim today : ( But i am glad i went now.
I did the usual,. 10 lots of 6 laps. Had a break in between aswel but didn't want to male it too long because i got cold. I learnt that during the first break. Not exactly sure on the time but i thnk it is about right.
Felt pretty good swimming. Arms got a bit tired on the middle laps each time just like last time. Fun : )

Netball (Training+warm up+stretch) 1:00:00 [3]

We did just the normal warm up followed by some passing and this time a game of over a third.
We then did heaps of play work. Like throw-ins and stuff.
And finally we played a half game. I played WA.
Good training session. Twas quite fun : )
Legs were a bit sore from yesterdays training and my bum was hurting a bit too : (

Running (Training at the Track) 50:00 [3]

It ws my first time training at the track today so i was a bit.......nervous?
We had to do 3 lots of 4x150m's and I did them with 3 other girls. It was good to do the track work. I enjoyed it.
We walked around the track after each one and after each my legs felt jelly before we started again lol. Quads were hurting a bit too and i think that is because of the fact that i hadn't done sprints like that for AGES!

Only bad news about today is that i think i have hurt my bottom again from the striding in the sprints. Not sure but it definately hurts now : )

Not sure really how long this was but we ran around the track 3 times. Then we did 5 sprinty thingo's where we ran up the track for a bit and then walked back : )

Stretching (Part of my warm up.) 10:00 [1]

We did a good stretch after the warm up and in between each of the sets i did a little bit of a stretch too. Not much but anyway.
Oooo and we learnt a new stretch. He said to do it each day, Might make me more flexible! : )

Orienteering race 36:25 [4] *** 3.8 km (9:35 / km)

So happy with my run today. I got under 10 minutes km's! :DD
Didn't make any mistakes and i really liked the area. Was easy running except legs got tired by the end because of the up and downs.
Felt a bit sick. Kinda dry reached at the end of my course :( but i dunno why ??
Apart from that i loved it :D

Orienteering ("Rural Acres") 1:00:00 [3]

NEWCASTLE JUNIORS TRAINING
First we did a windows training thingo where parts of the map in between controls were blanked out.
And then we did a star relay from which i scored a block of chocolate! lol
We had to do two loops each and then when everyone on your team had done that the whole group had to go around a course together. The other team went out in the lead but we got em :P hehe

Netball race (Semi Final) 30:00 [4]

GRAND FINAL HERE WE COME!!!! WOOOOT! :D D
So happy. 4 of us on the team played a half game and i was one of them. But i don't really mind.
We played the team that was coming first on the ladder and i really didn't think we would win but we ended up winning by like 12 or 14. Not sure exactly but anyway.
I played WD for both of the quarters Heaps good day : )

However this means i don't get to do the NSW middle distance champs but will deffinately be going on the sunday to th NSW schools champs!

We did a whole group warm up and it was a very good warm up. Passing, running, drills, and a half game.
Then again before i went on in the game i did a warm up with one of my friends. We pretty much just did like the same as the other warm up minus the half game and some drills.
Very happy for warming up so well :P Now i just gotta do a warm down

I just walked home with my friends, so i don't think you could call it that much of excercise. Stopped at the shops and talked the whole way. My bag got a bit heavy and my feet were hurting a bit but i am all good now. Had heaps of fun : )

cycling (Cycle class at the gym) 30:00 [3]

Was a good hard class tonight. I probably could've pushed myself a bit harder at the start but once again i think i made up for it during the end of the class. I was quite exhausted. My legs felt like jelly when i got off.
I had a bit of a headache too :[ but i think it was just because i didn't drink enough. Anyways, good class : )

Gym (Running on the Treadmill) 15:00 [3]

Didn't really want to get on the Treadmill while waiting for the Cardio class because my legs felt funny. However at the start i got on and just walked for a bit and i think i would'veactually run for about 12minuts of the 15 i was on there for : )

Gym (Cardio class at the gym) 30:00 [3]

In the class tonight we did skipping, running and some abs and some arms work. I workd really hard. These classes are my favouriteso when i get to do them i make the most of it. The skipping kind of hurt my calf muscles and the lunges really hurt my knees but other than that it was heaps good and i enjoyed it : )

Running (Run around Ashtonfield) 32:13 [4]

Was going to go into Kurri to swim with Josh but decided to stay here and go for a run with dad. I had been on this run before with him once i think except this time he was staying at a pace and i had to keep up and if i dropped away i had to catch up. Was hard work. Then at the end he slowly brought up the pace until we were going pretty quick to get home. Was exhausted.
Pretty emotional today too so i didn't like that but it was a good run : )

Did the usual stretches with dad. Put the Olympics on while we were stretching : )

Netball (Training at Charlestown) 1:00:00 [3]

Got there a bit late today so had to do a warm up and a stretch by myself befroe joining in with the drills. There was a different girl there today to help us train so we can hopefully/maybe get into the Grand Final. We learnt a few new drills and did some of the same ones that we already know. Then we played a half game against the team we played last training session. In the half game i played WA and WD.
Once again was good fun except the cold ruined it :(
I WANT SUMMER!

Event: City to Surf
 

Running race (CITY TO SURF) 1:18:20 [5] 14.0 km (5:36 / km)

I am pretty sure i had the worst before race incident. I payed 50cents to go to the toilet so i could go to the start quicker and then the first time i went in and the toilet disappeared into the wall, the second time it did it again and the lights started flashing, then the third time i went in and water sprayed out of the wall/floor and saturated me which meant i had to do the race with wet shoes.
However i got over that when we started. I was all good and then at the 5km mark my legs started hurting and then up heartbreak hill they hurt even more and then somehow i forgot about the pain but then in the very last km they started hurting again. My left foot was numb until like 4km's to go so that felt fairly odd too. Was happy happy with my overall time because i took like 15minutes off my time from last year :] so yea. My legs were quite stiff when we were walking around after the course and i have a feeling they will be sore tomorrow too.
My aim for next year is to get down near 70-75minutes. Can i do it? :P

Well our netball team was so ready for the first set of the semi's today and i am pretty sure we did the best warm up we had ever done but then the other team just didn't turn up :$ Twas a bit weird but that means that next week we play the team we played the week before and we have to win to get into the Grand final.

Rest Day today. I walked home from school with two of my friends. It was heaps fun. Just dawdled and talked the whole way. Is a pretty big walk though. Maybe not something you would do everyday because yea, Is pretty far. But yea, good fun : )

Running (Run around Ashtonfield) 20:27 [4]

So wasn't motivated for the run today. Was freezing cold and minutes before "Kazza" and i left to go out it was raining. So already was pleased with myself before we had started : )
Ran out and then turned around and ran pretty much the same route back. Has been ages since i have been for a road run and at the start i was feeling not so good and i got a bit frustrated (sorry mum : ] ) however at the end in the last section mum set ,e a challenge to get the time down to 5 minutes so i ran heaps harder and i ddn't feel that bad. So yes, that was a bit wierd but anywho. It was good to get out for my first road training run in such a long time, i needed to do so before the City to Surf : )

Stretching (STRETCH!!!) 7:00 [1]

Yes, thats right. I stretched! yay. And the stretch showed that my bum is pretty much better. It still hurts in one stretch but i can do the normal hamstring stretch with no pain at all YAY! : ]

cycling (Cycle class at the gym) 45:00 [4]

We did a little warm up and then go straight into it. It felt so wierd on the bike because it has been a while since i have been so that caused me to get a little saddle sore too : ( It was a good class, Very exhausting and hard, but good. We did a bit of everything, Sprints, long tracks and hills. There were heaps of people there! When we finished we did a little warm down. When walking back to the car my legs felt heaps jelly : )

Netball (Training at Charlestown) 1:20:00 [3]

Coach planned on working us hard this week because the semi's are on Saturday. We did the drills like usual and then worked on more game play. We did base line and side line throwin's. We then played a game against another team training at the same time. I played WA for the whole time except at the end i had to go to playing GK for the other team because they didn't have enough players. Training was good fun : )

We had to run around all of the courts like usual but this time it was including the ones up the hill! It was ok though. When we got back we just did a stretch before we started training and as expected no Warm down was done : )

Swimming (Swim at Kurri Kurri Pool) 45:00 [3]

Did the usual, which is 10 lots of 6 laps. Was good because i haven't been in so long. There was a bit of confuzzle with the lanes and had to keep on changing all of the times but it was ok. My arms tended to feel sore on the 3rd and 4th laps in the sets but then it went again. Felt good, found it a bit hard to breathe a few times because of the badish chest but it was all good : )

Orienteering race ('Little Burkes Creek') 55:04 [4] 2.9 km (18:59 / km)

You can tell from my time that my run wasn't the best. I stuffed up number 1 and then at number 2 I got to where my compass lead me and it ended up being that heaps and heaps of people were looking for it. There were heaps of controls in the green and at the end of my course i was going really slow because of it. Appart from that my course was good and i was running well through the bush but yea, i wish i didn't make those mistakes : )

I ran to the car and back before going to the start where i was really nervouse and was jumping like a rabbit. Once again i didn't do a warm down, I really think i should start them once in a while : )

Netball race (Game at Charlestown) 1:00:00 [4]

It was the game before the semi's today and we played the team coming first. Was a good game in the end, we had a massive come back. At the end of the first quarter it was 20-6 their way and at the end of the third quarter i think it was, the score was 27-18 their way and in the end we only ended up losing by 6. I played WD in the first quarter and for the next three i played WA. I wasn't supposed to be oon in the second quarter but one of our girls hurt her hand so i got to go on as WA and i am pretty sure if that didn't happen i would have been playing WD for the rest of the game but i like playing WA so it was lucky in a way : )

Did the usual warm up and stretch and then this week we did a few quick passing things and a defense thing : )
