Orienteering race (Aus. Relay Champs) 23:44 [4] 2.7 mi (8:47 / mi)

only an ok run. Stuffed up one of the controls. took eight minutes on it so i lost a fair bit of time. Was hoping to do well today to have a good last run but it wasn't to be but anyways : )

BAD BAD run today. Not happy at all.
I think the only thing i need to say is..........34minutes to one control :(

Happy with today's run as well. No big mistakes but i stuffed up a little on one of the controls. Had heaps of fun, I love sprint events. Ended up fourth-four seconds behind third : )

Orienteering race (Aus. Schools Relay Champs) 34:22 [4] 3.7 mi (9:17 / mi)

WOOOOOOT!! Go NSW junior girls. We came 4th overall and were the third Aussie team with an overall time of 113.25 :D
A very fun day. Was so nervous before i started but thats not a first. Was happy happy with my run from today. Nothing bad, really satisfied : )

Orienteering (Aust. Schools Ind. Champs) 48:33 [3] 4.4 km (11:02 / km)

mmmm, was disappointed with my run but when i got back i was happy that i was in the top ten for my first year in Junior Girls. Number 1 was good but controls 2 through to 6 were pretty ordinary. Control 2 and 5 were the worst but the others weren't so good. Anyway, i get encouragement from this : )

Had a good run again today. Messed around a little bit with one of the controls, i think it was that i got put off by the gun person that i could see but i tried to forget that and didn't see anyone for the rest of my course which was good. Happy once again : )

Orienteering race (Aus Middle Distance) 13:28 [4] 1.6 km (8:25 / km)

Happy with my run from today. Had heaps of fun and kept on the move the whole time. Really enjoyed the area too. Finished up with second place. Great way to have started the week i think : )

cycling (With Joshwa) 52:19 [3] 9.65 km (5:25 / km)

Josh took me for a bike ride. We went on streets to a really quiet street where he taught me heaps and got me more confident (i took my hands of the handle bar :D) and then we went into dirt tracks where he taught me more. I am pretty sure i failed at going up every little sudden hill when we were on the dirt,, lol I really enjoyed it : )

Orienteering race (NSW Long Distance Champs) 56:19 [3] 2.9 km (19:25 / km) +70m 17:20 / km

mmmmm, well not such a good run today. There were a few legs where i didn't do too bad only most of them were fairly ordinary. I think my route choices were good for them only they just sort of failed which wasn't a great thing to happen. anyway, hopefully this means my bad run is out of the way and i will have good runs at Queensland : )

I did a run to the start and then realised i had a little bit extra time so i decided to run down the track and back to the start again. Didn't do a warm down though :$

Orienteering intervals (Bush intervals) 48:31 [4] 5.5 km (8:49 / km)

We went to a map to do some bush intervals. There were four loops and i did them all! : ) hehe.
Times were:
A: 12.16 - 1.2/ I had a bit of trouble on the first control
B: 10.38 - 1.3/ Liked this one. Went good only i was a bit cautious on one
C: 12.27 - 1.7/ Liked this one too. Did make any errors : )
D: 13.10 - 1.3/ All was going well until the last one because i spent like 5minutes looking for the actual flag because it was so dull lol
Really enjoyed the whole thing. Wish we cold do it more often.

Dunno about the time here but we ran about 10minutes to the start dad had set up and then for a warm down i went around one of the courses to collect the controls : )

Note

:( I have heaps spre arms from needles today. One in each arm and when i was doing the training today one bled.
But before i got them done the lady asked me if i was pregnant, lol. Funny : P

Oh and i am sooooo sooooo sooooo excited about queensland!!! :D

Running (Run around ashtonfield) 27:55 [3]

Mum drew me a little loop on one of the Ashtonfield street-o maps and i read the map while we both ran around it. Was heaps of fun and i think i ran better than i have when i just go for normal runs. Thats probably because i am not thinking about how much my legs are hurting and i am thinking about the map and stuff. I really liked it and i think i will do that more often maybe : )

Stretching (After my run) 10:00 [1]

Did a stretch with Josh when i got back. Felt good to actually stretch.
It's wierd because i can't do the shakey leg stretch on my left leg because it hurts just like my bum used to hurt : ( but atleast it is only when doing that stretch.
Oh and the front of my legs don't hurt as much now. I haven't sprinted but i can't feel it hurting when i go for a normal run anymore so that is good. I think it is because i have been stretching before i fall asleep : )

Gym (Cardio Camp Class) 45:00 [3]

Was hoping that it wasn't going to be the same lady that took it as last week but unfortunately it was and once again it wasn't a very good class: (
I used to really like these classes but it really is pointless now.
We just did like a circut thing and it had heaps of weights and push-ups and we did boxing too which hurt my poor nuckles,,, lol.
Anywaym i was glad i did something even though it wasn't too good : )

cycling (Around the streets) 44:54 [3]

Have been wanting to go for abike ride for ages but because of the rain i haven't, only today it wasn't raining. So thats just what i did.
Was riding on Josh's old bike so was sort of testing it too. I will need to move the seat up a bit i think but other then that it was pretty good.
I had such a good time, think i will make this a weekly thing : )

cycling (Cycle class at the gym) 45:00 [4]

Such a tough and exhausting class tonight. We did two hills, one about 18 minutes and the other about 10. My legs were sore and i was sweating heaps, lol.
Oh and yea i was all on my lonesome during the class today, so sad : )

Stretching (Stretch) 10:00 [2]

Did a good stretch after the class with mum while Josh was being a freak and training more :P
We made a decision that we are going to stretch after every cycle class we do : )

Orienteering race ("Darks Common") 32:47 [3]

Not sure if this is the right time and i don't know what the distance was but anyway.
Was kinda happy with my run. Was a bit slowish in some spots and i made a silly silly route choice on one of them. Also got a bit tired towards the end which wasn't good. Took track options mostly because i heard from heaps of people before i went that it was heaps thick.
I was glad we went today because of how lazy i have been lately. I will be changing that!! but ya, was a good fun day. And HAPPY DADS DAY DADS!!!! : )

Warm up/down warm up/down 7:00 [2]

Ran to the start for a warm up and then ran back to the car at the end with Josh. Was good : )

Was a pretty pathetic class tonight. The lady that took it didn't seem very organised and yea, it just wasn't a very good class. I am glad i went to the gym and did something but was expecting it would be a better class but anyway : )

cycling (Cycle class at the gym) 45:00 [4]

Was a very tough class today, but enjoyed it heaps. We did hills, then intervals and then at the end we did sprints. My legs were burning!
It was heaps hot in the room which made it a bit bad but meh.

Was such a nice afternoon!! Was loving just being outside. Planted my frangipani tree! : D
