Trail 49:00 [3]
shoes: Pegasus 29 (red)

Scolty with middle wee'en in the gathering gloom. Had to work hard to keep up with him of course. Good for me. Deer gate track up, over the back then lower tracks back to the cp. Tracks drying up nicely.

Orienteering 20:00 [2]
shoes: XTalon 212

Putting out controls at Docharn for Maroc TS. I'd forgotten how good this place was, and still is. The map too.

Orienteering race (INVOC Anagach) 1:17:00 [4] 8.2 km (9:23 / km) +305m 7:55 / km
shoes: XTalon 212

Brown in snow flurries.
Bit of of a plod but managed to keep running throughout. Only really two mistakes of much significance in 29 controls. Banana at 19 then compounded it by stopping to tie my shoelace straight after, and then couldn't find my compass which was gripped in my teeth.
Then brain totally switched off at 29th and last and lost 2 mins. Never really got going too well but was somewhat concerned about running out of gas in the heather after some energetic days.

Note

Really good weekend - hard to beat Uath Lochans, Loch Vaa, Docharn and Anagach with a great bunch.

Note

Took a heavy thump on left calf from an errant piece of log towards the end today. Stiffened up and somewhat sore tonight but hopefully nothing of real concern.
