biking 1:20:00 [3] 18.75 mi (4:16 / mi)

Oh, out and around on the bike. to work, then from work to the Harvard Stadium to pick up a copy of the Harry Potter movie for the themed movie night. Then to Lori's lab for the training. After training I went out to pick up thai food for the group (communists and capitalists alike) -- As an aside I ran into Kate Jensen, an orienteer from long ago (JWOC in Spain etc).... we chatted a bit and she asked when did US orienteering A-meets change format from two classic days to one short and one long ( I didn't really remember, It was kinda gradual for me). -- after the movie played out I biked over to give the mice their nightly dose of pain killers and then biked home.

Lori's genius brain child -- Harry Potter themed CSU training. For more magical musings refer to Lori's evolving rules

rules

This was wicked fun got a lot of running in but felt easy. managed to find all 15 controls on the map, and all the 5 map fragments while they were at various checkpoints, and all 8 of the hidden controls (except the one locked in the playground). I also tagged lori if that counts for points all of a sudden.

At the end got stuck on the inside of a construction fence... trying to follow Alex to freedom was a big mistake and it took valuable minutes to extricate myself :)
