Orienteering race 14:41 [5] ***
8c

Glasgow Park Champs - three sprint races in different parks in the course of a day, with the last being a chase. It was a blast! Park 1: Pollock. Nice woods, but not orienteering well for the first few. 2.5km.

Park 2: Tollcross. This was a lung-bursting sprint! Sections through rose gardens and some woods, but a lot of open, mowed grass. 2.8 km. 30 sec errors. Couldn't match the pace of the young-uns.

Orienteering race 13:06 [5] ***

The chase at Cathkin Braes. A much more technical, less park-like area with burnt out cars scattered through mostly nice woods. Quite hilly. The chase was meant to be longer, but actually similar to the others - another sprint, on tired legs. 2.2 km.
