Orienteering race 46:02 [5]

WJS Middle Race at Mallards Pike. Lovely crisp day with about 3cms of snow on the ground. Forest was flat, fast and runnable. Was able to run through the snow, not worrying about slipping on the wet branches.Hit all the controls dead on, trying hard to use attack points and the contours. Just a slight blip at 11 where the control was further to the east, but everyone else who was there at the same time said the same. Enjoyable session - wish I'd been on a longer course, and I don't sat that very often!

Body Combat 1:00:00 [5]

Yep, it was the same as last night. Felt slightly easier today, barring the knee work in the last track. Didn't feel quite so worn out to start witn which made it easier.

Body Attack 1:00:00 [5]

Started off quite well, but was very soon doing low options for jumping jacks and knee jumps. By the end felt absolutely knackered. Must be doing too much!!

Body Attack 1:00:00 [4]

Good session, with only very few people there. Did a few tracks from old releases, but worked hard astwo each of tracks 8 and 9, therefore a big second cardio block.

Body Combat 1:00:00 [5]

Hard session tonight. Sassi had removed the ginga track but replaced it with two other very full-on arm tracks. Was vey tired by the end and so found the abs track more difficult than usual. Then she'd replaced the one minutes plank with huge crunches!! Not a happy bunny. Be interesting to see if she does the same tomorrow morning too.

Orienteering race 48:16 [4]

BAOC Bulford Ridge. In parts this is lovely runnable short grass, but in others there are loads of very prickly thorn bushes. I have the scars to pove it. The course was technically easy, due to the terrain, but a tricky number 5. Missed it by a little bit and ended up in the thorn bushes! Did not particulry enjoy the long slogs along grass tracks, but little choice. Organised by SWJS.

Body Attack 1:00:00 [5]

Didn't feel too bad after orienteering as well today. coped fine until Sam did 2 track 8's follwed by 2 track 9's. Even struggled by the end of "Hero". Must have done me some good though.

Steve and Donna were back! Good session as Sassi put in some old stuff for the last 2 tracks.

Body Attack 45:00 [4]

As it'a Half Term there were only 3 people there, and one of those was new!! Had a good workout, with Sam working alongside us throughout. I feel the abs exercises are actually doing me some good!

Studio Cycling tempo 1:00:00 [5]

You really know when you've been to a Spinning session. Over booked as usual, with several completely new people! found the second and third hill climbs quite challenging today.

Body Combat 45:00 [3]

I'm really enjoy these Pump Express classes. We did the dreaded Lunges today, but it is getting easier - still very hard, but not quite so bad as at the beginning!

Orienteering race 57:38 [5]

TVOC Chiltern Challenge. What joy to compete in such a runnable forest. No undergrowth, few contours, just lovely forest to run through!Straightforward course as the area isn't technical, but planner made up for it with lots of short legs, with changes of direction. My route to 7 skirted an OOB area and then meant ploughing through some slow run. However on emerging out I was at the top of a VERY steep slope, so had to go round to the north to enable me to get down to the control. Should have gone around the OOB to the north as David did!! Made a hash of 14 as took wrong path when I got out of the block of land. Went a very long way round, but the 2 runners who'd been with me at 14 were only just going into the control anyway. Hard run for me, but a very pleasing day.
