BAOC Henley Gate. The worst I have orienteered for a long time. Went from 2 to eventually finding 6 before relocating. Then from 4 to 10, Next couldn't find 5. Next went from 9 to 4, and so it went on. Almost gave up but decided I would not let the planner beat me! A day to forget.

Orienteering race 31:47 [3]

JK Relays, W165+, 2nd lap. Gutted that I messed up the first control. Cut diagonally across an open area to be greested by a vast 20 ft deep ravine. Paniced and climbed up to a path at the top and down the other side to my re entrant. I should have just dropped 1 contour and gone along the bottom on the path leading out of the control. Just didn't see it. Must have lost 2 or 3 minutes here. Also had a miss at 9. We lost 4th place by 2 minutes and 3rd place by 3. My 2 other runners both won their laps. Gutted.
