Body Combat 1:00:00 [5]

Once the microphone decided to play a really upbeat session. Am pleased with the cool down moves which I've finally cracked!

Body Attack 1:00:00 [5]

How come Thursday sessions are so much better than Monday ones? No problems with the floor and even the stereo worked properly! Did mainly yhe curren t release until the second cardio block, and then to a very old, favourite one. Managed all the jumping jacks early on , but couldn't keep it up through the final round of Hero!!

Body Combat 1:00:00 [5]

Loads of new people tonight so Sassi was quite gentle with us to begin with anyway. Enjoyed the session, but it's so hard actaully getting out when it's freezing cold!

Orienteering 48:32 [5]

BAOC Frith Hill What a lovely runnable forest, especially after Sunday! Despite driving through some snow showers on the way it was a sunny day and temperature was good.Hit all controls to 5 spot on. My route to 6 went a bit astray as I missed a path and the rough open yellow had grown up! Was able to double back ,but then took wrong path out of control. Again was able to sort myself out via some open. There were extra rhodo bushes prior to number 8 so ended up going down the hill and up again. Roger Baker caught me up and I stayed with him for the rest of the course.Straight forward to the end. A bit of grot around 14, but all in all a nice gentle course. Just waht I needed!

Body Combat 1:00:00 [5]

Good session tonight. I've finally cracked the cool down karta moves thanks to Sassi coming with us and demomstrating the same way round!! Now I've got to try the funky leg change in the Carmen Buranda knees track!

Body Attack 1:00:00 [4]

Hooray! The floor was actually okay today, for the first timne since before Christmas!! Couple of new people today so Sam did a lot more explanation than usual. We opted for the abs track instead of "Hero" which must have done us more good.

Studio Cycling 1:00:00 [5]

Not quite so bade today. Had a better bike although the markings on thee resistance knob had worn off. Found the racing tracks more comfortable and was able to add more resistance on all three climbs. The last track wasn't as bad as I remember!

Body Pump 45:00 [3]

Body felt ready to do the Pump session, even after this morning. Might even try Combat as well next week. Luckily it was Squats week, and I'm finding these easier to do now I've lost some of my tummy flab!! Can even make a reasonable effort at the plank rotations now!

Orienteering race 1:07:52 [3]

What a difference a day makes. GO OO Trophy event at Verdley Woods, near Midhurst. Should have been warned by the mappers note that the undergrowth symbol had been removed as it made the map too cluttered. The WHOLE area had been brashed and absolutely everywhere was covered in heavy, thick brashings!! Had to do the first 4 controls through it, and stupidly I went direct from 4 to 5. No option going to 6, but then I went out and ran down a very muddy wide ride and track to 7. Back through all the grot to 8,9,10,11 and 12. Finally the option of 2 different routes on tracks/paths to 13. Back into the grot to the end of the course at control 16. Didn't miss any - I was going too slow, but not enjoyable, especially after yesterday!
