Running (Road/XC) 39:15 [3]
shoes: asics gel-kinsei 3

Quite happy with my new shoes. My two pairs of trail running shoes are well past the throw-away stage so I recently got a pair of Nike Alaris to replace them at a bargain price of £25 at the same JJB closing down sale where I bought my Adidas CC Rides. The problem was that a quick search on the net revealed that Nike Alaris are designed for over-pronators whereas I am a slight under-pronator so not much good for me. Started them on E-Bay at 99p on a 7-day auction - got £28 for them!

This is where the story gets really good. At 25manna on Sunday there were some bargains at the Intersport shop. There always seems to be some proper good prices at these big relay events - I got a Haglofs Winter sleeping bag for 700sek down from 1800sek a couple of years ago. Anyway after some serious searching work through a load of Asics boxes I managed to find some Gel-Kinsei 3s in my size. Got them for just under £30. The UK RRP for them is over £140. The Swedish RRP for them is well over £200. Happy.

Steady run around Nacka trails, new shoes were fine, felt pretty good for a fat bloke who runs once a week.
