Decided to go to the Water Gap. I decided that I had had such fun the last time I went (until I twisted my ankle) that I would do a similar course in the reverse direction since I knew the woods were pretty good. I had just as much fun this time. The woods were a little thicker and with more blueberry than in April but still lots of fun for this time of year.

Mostly just went straight although I detoured a bit to follow some ridges. No real issues although I let some deadfall push me a bit further than I realized between 10 and 11. Unlike in April, I had no inclination to try to jog any of it.

UsynligO course at Shickshinny. Gloria came with me and absolutely loved the crazy terrain. Orienteered reasonably well although I did lose track of exactly where I was once or twice and was very happy to see what I wanted to see when I came up over a ridge. The woods are so wide open and visibility is amazing; completely different feel that Lost Lakes. Too bad it's over an hour away. The time includes the ~1km walk to start and ~1km walk back from the finish.
