Busy busy busy packing, tidying and drinking coffee at the Cafe in the Coppice (awesome place). Train down to Heathrow tonight, then off to Kiev early tomorrow morning. Sweet.

Nice wee cruise out through tiddly paths out to the headstone. Stopped for 15mins to sit on the top and sunbathe (well, actually sat there for 10mins and spent 5mins trying to climb down) then reluctantly set off running again. Felt really tired and sleepy after it - not quite sure why. Saw a frog and got asked for directions twice. Interestingly.

3x1min (10reps). Drove out to Damflask just below Dungworth (hehe) and did a well nice loop up through Ughill (hehe), Rod Moor (hehe), Moscar and back along Strines and Dale Dike (hehe) reservoirs. Was only gonna do 8reps but the last few were flat/downhill, it was a nice path and I was feeling really rather good.

Another different loop in Rivelin. Felt pretty tired so didn't push very hard. They've fixed the bridge down the bottom and put new stepping-stones in. Interestingly enough.

Cracker evo and a good route in that you get all the climb done at the start. I did underestimate the hill a bit though and set off too hard and was screwed by the top. But I was in the lead and held on to it on the descent. Laces came undone so lost a bit of time being cautious near the end (don't wanna get injured now!). Never met the guy (Nick Swift) in 2nd before but he's in Dark Peak and it turned out he used to be my postie and knew that I'd lived on Roebuck Rd. Nice guy. Long hair.

90x30s (15 reps). Stuck to big paths/roads and made it slightly downhill so I could try and run fast. Feeling good for a change.

By doing the reps downhill I had to run up a big hill on my warm down. Cracker evo.

Pretty much the whole of Sheffield has gone to Scotland and left me all on my own. Didn't bother me tho cos it was a gorgeous, hot, sunny day and I did a well nice run up Back Tor, along Derwent Edge and back over Strines Moor. Managed to keep going a lot better today and almost felt good along the edge. Stopped to take a few photos (til my batteries ran out) and to climb up the Wheel Stones, so it wasn't a continuous effort. Drove home with the window open and no top on, so it must finally be summer in the UK (oooh 28, feels like 28 apparently). Just in time for them to close the whole countryside cos of Foot and Mouth probably.......
