I had time before my flight home to orienteer on the map Mike made for me. I drew a course and headed out. I knew the map was a work in progress, so I wasn't sure how to read the big red blob near 1. I thought I had gone too far because the road was curving. So I figured I had missed the "trail". (In reality, I should have gone just a bit further) I went back and found a slight deer trail with a sign near it, so I went in. That seemed reasonable. What wasn't reasonable was that I kept going even after the trail disappeared. Before I knew it, I was stopped dead in my tracks by thorns wrapped all around my legs. That finally made me give up. When I got back to the main path, I saw that my legs were bleeding and muddy. So I headed back to my hotel room to wash off my legs.
