Hiking 30:00 [2] 8.5 km (3:32 / km) +800m 2:24 / km

As the day was promised to be beautiful in the mountains, Urs decided to take the day off. We drove to Interlaken, took the cog up to the top of the Harder and started hiking along the ridge. Got to the meadows and nice views of all of the high mountains (Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau and others), continued along the ridge high above the Lake of Brienz up to the first high point (Suggiturre) and on to the Augstmatthorn (4 hour hike). The usual ibex along this high ridge were missing :-(. Managed ok with my knee but had it taped and took my poles. Went down straight to the Lombachalp which was quite hard on my knee but we made it in an hour. Saw the herd of ibex along the way, they were grazing at a lower elevation. Hitchhiked down to Habkern and were too lazy to wait for the bus, so hitchhiked again back to our car with a friendly Indian couple!!
Afterwards, my knee hurt less than usual. strange though? But the capsule is swollen, so there was some impact.
