Collingwood half marathon!

Finished second overall - first place was fast.. 1:18
Rained the entire race but I didn't mind.

Started off fast with two others - cool leading a race and. Ring escorted by a police car for a few Kms. First km was fast - 3:30 then 3:45 and I knew I had to back off. He ended up winning the race. I dropped the other guy and pretty much ran the entire race solo. Felt pretty good but had 2 slow km at 16/17km (4:15 and 4:16) realized I had to step it up and followed the two slow km with 4km under 4 mins each. Finished strong for second place. Had no idea where third place was but he finished 1:26:16. Fun race. Great course. Very flat except for 200m @16km. Would do it again!
