Up and back along Mitchell River.

Hot and hard work, and quite sunny. Legs were seriously struggling. And just feeling very flat in the heat, and not very nimble on over any rocks. Turned around when I got to the largish snake that was heading the same direction as me. River swim was very much appreciated. Then James dragged me back up the hill to the campground.

The full run from Angusvale will have to wait for another time.

Warm up. Warm out.

Intervals - short.

10 x 30s on, 60s recovery around the oval in Edinburgh Gardens. Was hard going in the heat. Didn't feel too bad but pace wasn't high.

Running 10:16 [3] 1.59 km (6:27 / km)

Warm down.

Stomach not overly happy and lower back a bit tight.

Evening jog along the creek.

R heel a bit sore at the start but came good. Then legs felt pretty tired for the last 2km.
