Hiking 7:17:10 [1] 10.67 mi (40:58 / mi) +1709m 27:21 / mi
shoes: Brooks Cascadia 14 - black/red

Bridger Ridge trail, plus Pomp, Hardscrabble, and Ross, because if you're already doing the entire ridge you might as well climb all the mountains in the range!
Siri and I started off at 7:20am at Fairy Lake. Took about 40 minutes to get up to the pass, hit Pomp shortly after (headed down the east ridge from Pomp towards a cliff due to the clouds and low visibility before correcting back north), and we were on top of Hardscrabble at 9:00am. Sacagawea by 9:45; Naya Nuki not long after. We briefly attempted to stay on the ridge between Naya Nuki and Ross, but it looked rocky, sketchy, and slow, so we popped down to the trail on the west side.
We were making good time, and when the trail crossed the west ridge going up to Ross, we opted to head up there and cut off some extra elevation by not going all the way to Ross Pass before ascending. We weren't really sure what the best (doable) route was, but we made it up to the top by 12:30pm with minimal sketchy scrambling. Hardly any exposure, so it wasn't too bad. Stopped for snacks and photos at the top for a while, and we made some friends with a couple who were summitting just as we started leaving. Unfortunately, neither of us had looked up the route up/down the southern ridge, and we picked the wrong way down. There was some legitimate down-climbing on some legitimate (but small) rocky cliff sections, which was a little sketchy given our running shoes and lack of rope. I think we were down at Ross Pass by 2:30pm or so, making the entire Ross endeavor about a 3-hour detour.
We started slowing down considerably, but the rest of the hike/run was on trail on the top of the ridge. Popped off the trail a couple times to hit the actual tops of a few peaks, both named and unnamed. We were on top of Saddle at 5:30pm ish, and we ate PBH, cheez-its, and an orange for dinner.
Drank the last sips of water on Baldy, then trudged along for the last 5 miles down. I was pretty done by Baldy, and I think having another liter of water would have helped. Siri and I each had 2L, which we survived with, but more water would have been better. No water in the Bridgers to refill with. Hit the M trailhead at 8:50pm. All in all, it was a 13.5hr car-to-car trip. The drive back to the first car took 45 minutes.

Running 3:00:00 [1] 10.0 mi (18:00 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Cascadia 14 - black/red

Estimated not-tracked distance, with some time to get closer to the 13.5hrs (minus breaks). Calling this running because the other part is called hiking, and we did a good mix of both.
