Westlakes Summer Series
Before the event it was raining and raining and raining and it didn't look like a very good day to go orienteering but we went and the courses were great. Did the medium course and made only a small mistake where I forgot to read the uncross able fence. After the race I was talking to Liv about my mistake and she said that sometimes if you make a bad route choice you shouldn't turn around you should just keep going that way. Rained half way through the course which was lovely. I tried to run hard but I had a massive headache and little sleep which didn't help.
I'm so excited for the sprint series next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edward street running loop. First km was 5.34 which was my warm up, then ran 4.20 and 4.07 mins/km plus a short warm down.
